Event Details
Earn your certification in CPR and AED for FREE at the Cambria County Library! This class consists of a two hour online component that can be completed at your own pace prior to a one hour in-person component, where you will practice hands-on training. Sign-ups are required. You must be at least 10 years old to complete the certification. You will receive a code from the instructor Eric Steinbring to access the online portion of the class, approximately one week before the day of class. Each attendee must provide their own email address in order to receive a code. Please do not list the same email address for family members. Only one certification can be issued per email address.
Class size is limited to 10 per class. The online portion of the class must be complete prior to the in-person component. You must take both parts of the class (online and in-person) to earn your certification through the Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI). The library is able to offer this FREE, life-saving class through a Fund for the Future grant from the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies.
