Pawsome Reading Program - Therapy Dogs

Pawsome Reading Program On Saturday, February 21, 10-11:30am, therapy dogs will listen to children read stories to them. Even if your child cannot yet read, your child can look at pictures in a book and make up a story for the dog. 

Pre-registration is required to schedule 15 minutes of your child reading 1:1 to the dog. Studies have shown that reading to animals improves reading fluency, accuracy, and comprehension, as well as increased motivation for reading and increased confidence.
