Join us for a SummerQuest Kickoff Party! 

SummerQuest offers weeks of programs, reading challenges, and activities for kids, teens & adults. Programs begin June 16 and run through July 24. Log your summer reading and attend programs to earn Beanstack badges and the chance to win prizes! Register today at cclsys.beanstack.org. We encourage you to sign-up in advance--limited technical help is available for signups on Kickoff Night.

  • Activity stations on each floor--something for every age!
  • Free hot dog (1 per person), chips & drink from Chef Nan and the Center for Population Health
  • Live music by Mark Weakland! Enjoy Mark's brand of fun, family-friendly music on the patio from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
  • Come check out our newly renovated 3rd floor!
  • Learning Lamp's Indoor Planetarium! {2nd floor}
    Showings:
    • 5 pm & 5:40 pm: for children + their families
    • 6:20 pm for teens and adults
  • Grab a treat from the Good Times Ice Cream Bus at a discounted price.

  • The Learning Lamp Screen2Succeed program

  • John B. Gunter Community Leadership Initiative and The United Way of the Southern Alleghenies will provide FREE bags and books for children, including "The Color Rap Book" by Ann Harris-Smith. Laurel Toyota and the Ann-Harris Smith foundation will have their special Color Rap vehicle here.
