Join us for a special presentation and Q&A with Christopher Cook, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Political Science at Pitt-Johnstown, to learn more about the Russian invasion of Ukraine and get your questions answered.

In order to fully understand the situation in Ukraine, this talk will discuss several key historical events and main actors in the conflict, including Ukrainian Independence, the history of Russia’s interest in Ukraine since the end of the Soviet Union, and the 2014 Euromaidan protests and Russia’s annexation of Crimea.
