Safe Sitter® Essentials is a 5 ½ hour course that covers four areas of curriculum: Safety Skills, Child Care Skills, First Aid and Rescue Skills, and Life and Business Skills.

Our Children’s Librarian reads a book to children, and often includes audience participation such as clapping or saying a phrase.  Afterwards the children and adults move to the upper level of the library for a craft that relates to the book.
