Week Calendar

Sign-ups are Tuesday, January 21 and begin at 8 a.m. and end when class is full. When you sign up you are automatically registered for all 5 classes in this session. Class dates are: January 28; February 4, 11, 18 & 25.

Our Preschool P.A.L.S class is for children 3-5 years and their parent/caregiver. Play and Learn Storytime focuses on developing early literacy and school readiness skills. Class size is limited and classes fill up quickly.

Story Sprouts is for babies/toddlers 0-36 months and their parent/caregiver. Join us for stories, songs, sign language, lap bounces and more! Class size is limited and fill up quickly! 

Our Writer's Circle continues during the month of January!  Held in partnership with Craftwork Studios.

Never used a mouse, visited a website, or used email before? This friendly, welcoming class is for you! We'll cover the absolute bare-bones minimum of how computers work and what they can do.

Do you enjoy reminiscing about old times?  Do you have stories to share for generations to come?  If you answered yes, the library WANTS to hear from YOU!  We welcome you to join us for refreshments, friendship and conversation.

The Library is the local site that distributes one pack of diapers for anyone that lives in the Portage Area School District. It is the last Tuesday of every month from 11am-7pm. 

Seeking members to join our new morning book discussion group!

Join our fun group as we read and discuss one book each month. Games, refreshments and friends! This month we will be discussing "Girl Waits With Gun" by Amy Stewart.

Join us every Wednesday to work on your sewing projects!  Knitting, crochet, needlepoint, cross stitch, hand quilting - and any other hand project that interests you!

Join us for an afternoon of fun and friendly competition. Come alone or bring your friends to connect over some great games. Game choices include: board games, cards, dominoes, etc. Registration is not required.

Join us on saturday Feb 1st at 1pm for a talk with the local author and illustrator, of the book Ellie Flint's Elephant, Nicole Golmicz. The book will be available for purchase after the talk for $15.

All are welcome from beginners to advance for the knitting class.  Limited supplies of yarn and needles are available, or you can bring your own project to work on and connect with other knitters.

Join us to make a heart-shaped tulle wreath. Adults and children may attend this free program. Please call the library to register.

Teen Reading Lounge is back!  TRL is a non-traditional book group where young people in Grades 6-12 can hang out with other teens, talk about selected books, and participate in activities that they help choose. 

Design. Construct. Create. Let your imagination soar and come build with us! Registration is required and class size is limited. 

This month's craft will be rubber stamp making! Bring a white tea towel or white t-shirt to stamp your design, or we will also have some available for you to choose from.  We'll have snacks and a mocktail available too.
